'Pretty Little Liars' Inspired Shoot

Four High School Girls, Attitude and lots of Fun!

Sometimes it’s great to do something different to the norm. These four model friends had an idea of doing a ‘Pretty Little Liars’ themed shoot. So that’s what we did. I also love PLL myself so was more than happy to be involved.

I’m always happy to do themed or inspired photo sessions, it’s fun re-creating looks and putting our own spin on them.

These sessions are not just for models, i’d be more than happy to discuss a themed session with anyone. All you have to do is contact me :-)))

Charlie Matthews as 'The Greatest Showman'

When Models come to me with outfits that their Mom and Nan have designed and made , and it’s based on ‘The Greatest Showman’ how can i refuse haha…

I think you’d have to agree that Charlie is a stunning and very versatile model.  This was the second time i’d photographed Charlie this year and we have another shoot planned. Some of her images have got me awards at various photography competitions already this year. She’s a very keen photographer herself, in fact she’s a very talented 14 year old. She’s about to launch her very first line of clothing in July.  Her clothing line called ‘Missing Pieces‘ will be showcased at ‘The Society Fashion Week’ in America. I sense big things for this girl, she has so much determination and drive.

I seriously couldn’t wish for better people to work with.  I am inspired everyday <3

Here are the results of our ‘Greatest Showman’ inspired session with Charlie Matthews

Chloe Nuttall as 'The Pierrot Doll'

I’ve always been a daydreamer and i have a very busy mind, but a lot of my creative ideas come to mind when i’m relaxed or when i’m on a break.

I had a small Pierrot Doll when i was 11 years old from a shop in Margate when i was on a family holiday. I named it ‘Lucky’ and its still in my cupboard at home now,… anyway.. i went away with my family back in March and on the drive back i just remembered this doll and thought ‘i need to do a shoot based on this ‘ . By the time i got home i already knew what i wanted to achieve and id put out a model call for a girl to help me  with creating my visions.

Chloe stood out to me as she had the right look i wanted. Next was putting the outfit together. I found a white straight top and added some felt buttons and i found on eBay a Pierrot neck piece and bandanna. The bottoms i borrowed from a friend. I decided i needed a pink textured backdrop for this look and painted one myself.

I used  local make up artist  ‘Britney-Rose‘ for this look . She did an amazing job right down to the tear on her face .

Chloe did absolutely amazing in helping me achieve a vision of a doll i had when i was young <3

So here are the results of this creative session with the beautiful Chloe Nuttall…

Fine Art Shoot with Ellie Corcoran

I had a lovely shoot with teen model Ellie Corcoran back in March. She came all the way from Anglesey with her mom on a day when we had a big snowfall. To say it was cold was an understatement. Anyway the first thing i noticed about Ellie was her striking blue eyes. They say the eyes are a window into the soul and you know , i think they’re right!  Ellie has such a lovely soul. She was happy with my recommendations and wasn’t worried about the cold one bit. Although i had a heater going and we were wrapping Ellie in blankets in between shots she was such a great sport.

The peach dress she brought herself and was such a lovely colour for her skin and went well with the backdrop we used . In fact she rocked all the outfits . She was a dream to work with.

Safe to say Ellie and her mom were pleased with the results as were I and one of her images also got me a Gold award with thesocieties . My first Gold with this society. I was over the moon.

I do love my job.

I get to meet and work with such beautiful people , beautiful inside and out.

Mamma and Me session

A few weeks back i photographed another beautiful photographer Sarah from Rustic Heart Photography in Swindon. It was a ‘Mamma and Me’ session and she brought along her two gorgeous boys. Sarah loves girly pink princess pictures and this is the theme we went for. She brought her own dress and i added to it a big tutu and crown. Safe to say she loved the pictures as much as i do <3

January 2018-

Empowering women with Faith Breese

A few weeks back I was approached by the very versatile 10 year old model Faith Breese and her mom about doing an empowering  photo shoot raising awareness for equality, diversity, feminism, and freedom. Of course my answer was yes , I love to be creative and this project has so much meaning, so I began re-searching the history of women’s equality and the Suffragettes. This February marks the 100th anniversary of the Representation of the People Act 1918, which enabled all men and some women over the age of 30 to vote for the first time and in 1928 this was extended to all women over the age of 21!   I feel I’ve learnt a lot from this project myself and how  Emmeline Pankhurst and the Suffragettes made history and the future for us women! Such a powerful project and I’m thrilled to have been a part of it.
